UK Milk Production

Provisional UK milk production in April 2014 was up by 14.9% (165m litres) on last year’s figure.
The average UK farmgate price stood at 33.66ppl in March, a 0.20ppl (0.6%) decrease on the February average price. This was 3.59ppl (12.0%) higher than last year.

In April 2014, the average price for red diesel was up 0.02ppl to 66.57ppl and the retail pump price of diesel also rose 0.02ppl to 136.05ppl compared with March 2014
